Casa de Música
A simple mark for a music store in Tapalpa, Jalisco owned by a husband and wife: a guitarist and violinist. The mark uses the reductive forms of indigenous Nahuatl art against an unembellished backdrop.
 Process
During the concepting of the identity I limited my access of technology and internet access. I used textbooks on Nahuatl symbology and language to better research the art direction. After sketching, I created a makeshift linoleum block print by carving into large erasers.
